Twice's Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo will appear as a group.
JYP Entertainment announced on July 9th that Twice's Japanese members Mina, Sana, and Momo will form the unit "Misamo" and will make their official debut in Japan in July.
"Misamo is the first unit of Twice to be released after 8 years of debut, and it was created by taking the first letter of the member's name," JYP Entertainment stated.
Mina, Sana, and Momo performed the OST "Bouquet" of the Japanese TV Asahi drama "Lieson Children's Heart Clinic" on the 25th of last month. Following its release, "Bouquet" topped the local line-music song Top 100 Daily Chart on January 26 and 27, as well as the Weekly Chart the following week.
They appeared on the cover of the March issue of the Japanese fashion magazine Vogue.
Momo surpassed 10 million social network service followers on the 6th, ranking first among Japanese.
Sana and Mina were also among the top ten Japanese social network service users, proving their popularity.
