Jeon Do-yeon, who hasn't acted in a TV drama in a long time, will star in a romantic comedy.
The bittersweet romance between a hot-blooded president of a national side dish store and a South Korean math instructor is the focus of tvN's new Saturday and Sunday drama "Crash Course in Romance" (director Je-Won Yoo, screenwriter Hee-Seung Yang), which premieres on the 14th (Saturday). Jeon Do-yeon, who has returned to the romantic comedy genre after a long absence, is confident that her distinct and lovely charm will shine through.
"The charm of Haengseon is bright and positive," said Jeon Do-yeon. It appears simple, but I believe Haeng-seon is wise. "She is a person who faithfully and wonderfully lives the life she has chosen," she says, confirming her extraordinary affection for the character. "The character Haengseon is full of energy and high tension, so it was a bit difficult to follow when acting at first," she added. "I had a lot of doubts about whether I would be able to do the ambassador's fast breathing like Haengseon's words, and I cared and worried the most."
Finally, Jeon Do-yeon stated, "Crash Course in Romance' is both a true romance disguised as a fantasy and a warm family story. I believe this is a drama that the entire family can enjoy together. I'm hoping that the positive and warm heart conveyed by 'Crash Course in Romance' will also be conveyed to viewers "raising expectations by leaving a message full of affection for viewers who are eagerly waiting for the first broadcast.
tvN's new Saturday and Sunday drama 'Crash Course in Romance' will premiere on January 14, 2023 (Sat), immediately following 'Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow'.
