Jay of ENHYPEN apologizes once more for "remarks belittling Korean history"

Jay apologized again on Weverse, a global fan community, on the 18th, saying, "I apologize for incorrectly expressing my country's deep history without knowing enough about it with my insufficient vocabulary."

"At the time, I expressed my thoughts on Korean history using only the limited information I had available, and I was unaware that the wrong meaning could have been conveyed," he explained. "It appears that I was so careless," he admitted.

During an online live broadcast with teammate Sung Hoon on the 10th, Jay stated, "In the past, history wasn't interesting, but these days, Korean history is fun."

"Should I say there isn't a lot of information on Korean history?" he continued. It will be over quickly if you study for a few weeks. "It's similar to reading a short story." "There is a lot of information," Sung Hoon attempted to cover up Jay's remark. "I have recorded everything," he said, adding, "but other countries just go on and on." Following the broadcast, his remarks sparked debate, but it was pointed out that he failed to apologize properly by using the phrase "whatever the reason."

"My word choice in the previous apology was also very lacking," Jay admitted that day. Then he lowered his body and apologized, saying, "I should have thought about what I said more carefully, but I also apologize for this." "I, who lack the vocabulary to express my apologies properly, misrepresented our country's rich history."

"I am constantly thinking about how I will not make the same mistake again and looking for answers," he continued. "I believe the method I've thought up thus far is insufficient." I'd like to. "In the future, I will try to listen to more people's stories and become a more prudent person."
