After Chuu's exit controversy, Blockberry Creative is moving forward with Loona's comeback.
Blockberry Creative made their return official at midnight on the 12th by releasing a teaser image.
In response to recent rumors of Loona's return, Blockberry stated that they were preparing but that the date was unknown, but in the end, they confirmed the return on January 3 of next year. "Using the concept of when Loona sequentially unveiled the members one by one before debut, it conveys the meaning of a new start," Blockberry explained.
Despite being said to be making a complete comeback, Loona recently underwent a significant change with the release of Chuu. The process was anything but smooth. Blockberry issued a one-sided statement saying Chuu will be dismissed for verbally abusing the staff, and then issued a second statement saying, "If there is anything unfair or something you want to correct, the person in question should directly reveal it."
As the agency's stance on Chuu's departure became increasingly untrustworthy, public criticism of the agency grew. Some fans are perplexed by the decision to force the comeback of the remaining LOONA members while the situation remains unresolved.
