Brand New Music announced the release of the Brand New Year 2022 single on the 9th by revealing the colorful cover artwork via official SNS, followed by the release of the track list, highlight medley, and music video teaser.
Since the label's beginnings, Brand New Music has released a family single under the brand "Brand New Year" at the end of each year. It conveys the idea of presenting a new perspective.
"Hugs," the first track on this double-titled single, is a rhythmic R&B hip-hop song featuring Brand New Music's distinct boy groups, AB6IX, BDC, and YOUNITE.
The second track, "Nun Nun Nun," features Bumkey, Kibi, Hanhae, Yang Da-il, Kanto, Gree, Han Dong-geun, Vincent Blue, Yoda-Young, AB6IX's main vocalist Jeon Woong, and YOUNITE's main rapper. DEY brings together a hip-hop track with a warm year-end feeling, and it is filled with Brand New Music's unique year-end song atmosphere.
